My girlfriend and I recently attended the
Petersen Automotive Museum.
Located in Los Angeles, this new and dynamic
three floor musuem gives a rare glimpse
of how automobiles are a part of Southern
California. Cars appear in scenery of the
1920's to the 1960's. We felt we were
part of a movie scene such as Back To
The Future! We even walked around
a 50's style drug store, complete with
cold medicines on the shelves and gumballs
on the counter. It's much more than
a "musuem" - it's an experience.
It costs $7.00 for adults (less for children)
and AAA members get $1 off.
